Based in the beautiful Okanagan Valley, I specialize in creating unique landscape designs for residential lots both large and small. I work mostly with Strata Corporations and DIY homeowners. I limit the number of clients to ensure low volume, high quality work at a reasonable price.
While it is generally best to come up with a design for an entire area, I can tailor the design process to address individual problem spots.
Landscape Design
I have been involved with the Okanagan Xeriscape Association since 2016 and serve on their Board of Directors, charged with maintaining and improving the OXA plant database. I have an excellent working knowledge of principles of xeriscape and am keen to apply them whenever requested.

XERISCAPE Design
I am happy to provide onsite consultation. I have also provided help using photographs and video calls.
Generally, the most productive consultation involves me making a scaled 2D plan at least for the key areas in question. This gives me an opportunity to determine the size, location and spacing of the best plants for the area. I use simple photogrammetry to quickly capture the measurements I need.
Consulting
In some cases, landscape plans benefit greatly from a 3D design. 3D visualization can be very important for understanding how a design will integrate with the surrounding lots, sloping sites, and the beautiful views that are so common in our valley.
It is also relatively easy to model what the vegetation will look like in 10 years’ time. You can be set up to view the 3D plan on your own computer using video links.
